Iain Darroch
Iain is a Scottish artist with a varied career. He trained as a Shipbuilding
Draughtsman with Scott Lithgow, then worked in Africa's copper mines as
a Geological Draughtsman and Mine Planning Engineer, then with Britoil
as a Geological Draftsman.
He has always held a great interest and passion for drawing and painting and was inspired in his early years by his teacher Alex Gault.
His work is mainly in acrylics.
Although Iain has travelled widely, it is Scotland with all her changing light and mystery that is the inspiration for his work.
